1. On Sunday, Feb. 27, an individual was taken to the hospital after being shot in the face around 3:30 a.m. at the 1200 block of East Parmer Lane. 2. On Thursday, March 17 at 7 p.m., the virtual Travis Audubon Monthly Meeting will be held for all bird lovers to learn about the bird forecast of the month. Lisa O'Donnell, Senior Biologist for the Balcones Canyonlands Preserve in Austin, will head the meeting. 3. Recently the musical duo "They Might Be Giants announced the rescheduled tour dates for the shows originally postponed due to COVID last year." From June 2022-May 2023, they will travel throughout the United States with breaks in between. "The multimedia project is composed of an art book and album made possible by an impressive collaboration between graphic designer Paul Sahre, street photographer Brian Karlsson," as well as the group's band members.
