Travis County Medical Examiner's Office Seeks Help From Public To ID Man Who Died In 2014

The man was found inside a utility trailer

AUSTIN, TX -- The Travis County Medical Examiner's Office is seeking help from the public in identifying a man found dead inside a trailer in North Austin two years ago.

Austin Police Department officers were notified of the presence of a dead person inside small utility trailer in the 1400 block of West 3rd St. back in January 17, 2014. An autopsy was performed by the medical examiner, which determined the man died of natural causes.

But more than two years later, investigators have been unable to identify the deceased man, prompting the medical examiner to seek help from members of the public. To that end, Texas Department of Public Safety officials have recreated the man's facial features in a postmortem rendering.
