UT-Austin Police Seek Suspect Who Accosted Student
Unknown man in his 20s approached female student from behind, pulled down her pants, underwear near the Tyler's store on Guadalupe Street.

AUSTIN, TX — University of Texas at Austin police sought help from the public in locating a suspect accused of accosting a student along Guadalupe Street — pulling down her pants and underwear— early Sunday.
The incident occurred early Sunday near the Tyler's apparel store at 2338 Guadalupe St., UT-Austin police said. That's where a man approached the female UT student from behind before pulling down her pants and underwear, according to the victim.
The suspect fled the area. He's described as a Hispanic man in his early 20s who was sporting "hipster" glasses. No further details as to his appearance were provided.

Anyone with information that might be helpful to police should notify the University of Texas Police Department at (512) 471-4441 extension 9.
UTPD was notified by APD of incident that occurred on the 2300 blk of Guad this AM. A female UT student was walking near Tyler's when a male approached her from behind, pulled down her pants & underwear. The suspect fled the area w/o any further interaction.Description to follow

The suspect was described by the victim as an Hispanic male in his early twenties, wearing "hipster" style glasses. No suspects have been identified at this time. If you have info that might be helpful in this investigation contact UTPD at 512-471-4441 extension 9.
