Vegetarians: Oregon-Based Next Level Burger Coming To Austin
Local restaurant will be at the flagship Whole Foods store on 525 North Lamar Blvd., officials announced. Commence salivating.

AUSTIN, TX — Officials at Oregon-based Next Level Burger, a chain offering vegetarian burgers, has announced its entry into Austin this fall.
The local site will be at the flagship Whole Foods store on 525 North Lamar Blvd. For those not among the cognoscenti, Next Level Burger offers several variety of completely veggie burgers — an umami mushroom and quinoa variety, for instance. But the place won't limit itself to just burgers, offering hot dogs, fries, sandwiches, salads, and soy- or coconut-based shakes. Breakfast items also will be served.
The imminent move represents the chain's entry into Texas, with six locations mostly on the West Coast. But it's not the first collaboration with Whole Foods, first partnering with the chain at its East Coast expansion inside a Fort Greene 365 store.
