Woman Critically Injured In Lake Travis Boating Accident
Female victim in her 30s sustained critical, life-threatening injuries in incident that occurred just before 5 p.m. on Saturday.
NORTH AUSTIN, TX — A woman sustained critical, life-threatening injuries after a boating accident at Lake Travis Saturday afternoon, emergency officials said.
Medics with Austin-Travis County EMS said the woman in her 30s was transported by STAR Flight helicopter to Dell Seton Medical Center for treatment of her injuries in what originally was believed to be a standard water rescue. The incident occurred shortly before 5 p.m., medics said.
