In the second such incident in as many days, woman in her 40s sustains serious, potentially life-threatening injuries at area park.

AUSTIN, TX — For the second time in as many days, a woman was rescued from a nature trail on Sunday after sustaining injuries in a fall.
Austin-Travis County EMS medics wrote in Twitter a woman in her 40s was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center with serious — and potentially life-threatening — injuries. The incident occurred at Walnut Creek Park just before 1 p.m., according to medics.
Emergency officials noted crews utilized the so-called "big wheel" in extricating the patient from the wilderness — a device used to move patients across rough terrain or trails. It's unclear how the woman came to injure herself on the trail or whether if the incident was related to a medical issue.
