1. 2 women killed in crash involving an 18-wheeler in North Richland Hills: police (star-telegram.com) — Two women were killed Tuesday afternoon in a crash involving an 18-wheeler on the eastbound Northeast Loop 820 in North Richland Hills, shutting down lanes from Iron Horse Boulevard as investigators reconstructed the scene. North Richland Hills police say the women were pronounced dead at the scene near Holiday Lane, and no criminal charges are currently expected while the medical examiner works to identify the victims.

San Antonio DL Ahzan Bacote commits to Arizona's 2027 recruiting class (tucson.com) — North Richland Hills safety Luke Stevens, a multi-sport standout at Fort Worth Christian, has committed to play football for the University of Arizona’s 2027 recruiting class. He joins two other Texas recruits after recent official visits, bringing his speed and school-record 100-meter dash time of 10.53 seconds to the Wildcats’ defense.

She’s one of 17 Baylor students and faculty honored this year with Fulbright or Rotary Global awards, sending Bears to countries from Germany and South Korea to Brazil and South Africa.
