Working alongside ministries like Frost Street Mission and supported by donations from the community and Gray County, the church hopes to finish demolition and construction in time to offer expanded services by the holidays.

• City of Pampa announces interim police chief (myhighplains.com) — City officials have appointed longtime officer Brian Massey as interim police chief for Pampa following the April 17 retirement of Chief Lance Richburg. Massey, who joined the department in 2013 and recently served as assistant chief, will lead the force while the city begins its search for a permanent chief.
