Police: Suspects smashed display cases, got away with at least 15 automatic handguns, AR-15 rifles.

ALVIN, TX — A gun store in Alvin is proving to be a bit of magnet for thieves after the store was burglarized early Wednesday morning, for the second time in less than two years.
Police said thieves used a stolen pickup to wrap a chain around the front door at R&G Guns in the 200 block of West Coombs Street, and rip it off the hinges.
Police said once inside the store, thieves smashed glass display cases and stole about 15 handguns, and several AR-15 automatic rifles that were mounted on the wall of the store.
