Dickinson And Friendswood End Harvey Cleanup Efforts
While much of the debris has been removed, residents said there is still a lot of storm damaged debris that they will have to pay to remove

DICKINSON, TX βThe efforts to clean areas remove debris from homes and businesses devastated by Hurricane Harvey has come to an end in Friendswood and Dickinson.
The debris removal in both of those communities ended on Saturday with the third pass through city streets concluded.
However, there is still plenty of trash and debris that is still left, according to a KTRK report.

Since September, Friendswood has collected 140,000 cubic yards of debris, while Dickinson has picked up 170,000 cubic yards from in front of homes and businesses.
With debris collection ending, residents who are still cleaning up will have to find a way to dispose of the debris that is considered hazardous waste, and do it without being fined for illegal dumping.

However they are able to clean up is now the responsibility of the home and property owners in those communities.
