• Pasadena ISD Has Not Yet Published 2027 Health Insurance Premiums (iowaparkleader.com) — Pasadena ISD employees still don't know what they'll pay for health insurance in 2027 after the district scrapped a switch to the state's TRS-ActiveCare plan. Leaders now plan to keep the self-funded system but must set new premiums to fix a long-running medical fund deficit. Until updated rates are published, staff are urged not to rely on the withdrawn TRS figures still shown online.
   

• Police search for missing San Jacinto College student Leilani Rodriguez after concerning texts to parents (khou.com) — Authorities in Pasadena are urgently searching for 18-year-old San Jacinto College student Leilani Rodriguez, last seen leaving the Central Campus on foot September 23 after sending concerning texts to her parents. Investigators traced her phone toward the Fred Hartman Bridge before it went inactive, and anyone with information is asked to contact San Jacinto College Police Investigator Eric Reyes.
   

• Video 77th Pasadena Livestock Show & Rodeo wraps up with gratitude and lasting memories. (pasadenian.com) — Pasadena just wrapped up the 77th Pasadena Livestock Show & Rodeo after nine packed days celebrating youth, agriculture, and western heritage. Organizers are thanking everyone from exhibitors and volunteers to sponsors and families who filled the stands. While this year's rodeo is officially in the books, they're already looking ahead and inviting the community to come back and make more memories next year.
