• Rio Grande City to host first fishing and hunting expo (krgv.com) — Rio Grande City is launching its first-ever fishing and hunting expo Aug. 29–30, 2026, at the CDA Event Center, and organizers are still seeking vendors. Tourism Director Roy Garza says the event will feature affordable tours and expert sessions to help families and kids tap into the area’s rich hunting and fishing opportunities.
