• Rockwall-Heath Senior Towdah Kiima Wins Top North Texas Theatre Honor, Advances to NYC (blueribbonnews.com) — A Rockwall-Heath High School senior just earned North Texas’s top high school musical theatre honor and will represent Rockwall ISD at the national Jimmy Awards in New York City on June 22. Towdah Kiima’s win, along with multiple nominations for the Stage Hawks Theatre Company, showcases the growing strength of Rockwall-Heath’s theatre program.
• Lobos close spring drills with Green and White Game (news-journal.com) — Longview High’s football team will visit Rockwall on October 9 and then host Rockwall-Heath on October 16 as part of a newly expanded District 10-6A that includes both Rockwall schools. The Lobos just wrapped up a healthy, productive spring game and now turn toward a non-district slate before those key district matchups.
