Arrests Made Related To Round Rock Man's Christmas Day Death
Suspects in custody following the death of Joshua Armstrong, 37, in a home along 1100 block of Preserve Place.

ROUND ROCK, TX —Arrest warrants were issued in connection to the Christmas Day death of a Round Rock man, police said Saturday.
Police previously said the death of Joshua Armstrong, 37, is being investigated as a homicide. A family member found Armstrong's body inside a home along the 1100 block of Preserve Place in a death originally believed to be a case of suicide before police categorized it as suspicious, officials previously said.
On the morning of Saturday, Jan. 13, an arrest warrant for murder was issued for Richard Joseph Acosta, 23, officials said. Round Rock police served the warrant at 301 Phillips St. in Hutto, Texas, and Acosta was taken into custody without incident. Another suspect, Vanessa Velsasco, 20, also was arrested on a first degree felony of burglary of a habitation related to the incident.
