• I-35 could get even wider north of Austin. Here's what TxDOT has planned (statesman.com) — Round Rock drivers could see major changes on I-35 as TxDOT plans to widen a 13‑mile stretch between Round Rock and Georgetown with new HOV lanes, rebuilt interchanges, and added bike and pedestrian paths. The project is still in early design, and officials are asking for public feedback through August 28 while they study environmental impacts and search for construction funding.
