• Hutto police arrest 6 in online child exploitation investigation (statesman.com) — Two Round Rock men were among six suspects arrested in a Hutto-led online child exploitation sting targeting adults seeking sexual contact with minors. Round Rock police joined Williamson County, DPS and other partners in the weekend operation, which authorities say is part of broader efforts to protect children across Central Texas. 
• Rangers set to receive huge payoff after genius Logan O'Hoppe move (nolanwritin.com) — Round Rock baseball fans just watched Logan O'Hoppe use a hot stint with the Express to earn his way back to the Texas Rangers — and quietly give the club an extra year of control over his contract. After raking in Triple-A, he's already back in the big leagues, and the team's roster maneuvering could pay off through 2029.
• DEA Considers Multiple Applications to Import THC and Manufacture Marijuana and Marijuana Extracts (themarijuanaherald.com) — A Round Rock-based lab company, Chemtos LLC, has applied with the DEA to manufacture marijuana, THC and other controlled substances in bulk for research and testing customers. Two other firms in New Jersey and Iowa also filed related applications, which are now open for comments before any federal decision is made.
