Round Rock Hopdoddy Location Bringing Back 'Code 7' Burger To Mark One-Year Anniversary

Celebrants can buy: Angus beef, Tillamook cheddar cheese, applewood smoked bacon and fried egg all situated between two glazed doughnuts.

ROUND ROCK, TX — This is one heart-stopping promotion: To celebrate its one-year anniversary in Round Rock, the local Hopdoddy location is reintroducing its Code 7 burger this coming weekend.

For the uninitiated, the Code 7 burger is this: A creation featuring Angus beef, Tillamook cheddar cheese, applewood smoked bacon and fried egg all situated between two Round Rock Donuts glazed doughnuts.

It's not for the faint of heart. “Code 7" is the code police use for their fabled coffee-and-doughnut run while on patrol. The only other time it's been offered is when the local Hopdoddy at 2600 Hoppe Trail first opened a year ago.

But if you're intent on hardening those arteries, you must be one of the lucky (?) few as only 72 of the monstrosities will be prepared. The $11 burger will be available Jan. 20-22.

If you go: Godspeed.
