Round Rock Operation Blue Santa Program Off And Running
Police release dates, times to apply for gifts while sending out a call to community members hoping to give Santa a helping hand.

ROUND ROCK, TEXAS — Round Rock Operation Blue Santa is a non-profit organization established in 1978 by the volunteers and employees of the Round Rock Police, Fire, and Parks and Recreation Departments. In the first year of the program, Operation Blue Santa served fewer than 20 families by delivering toys and food to families in need during the holiday season. Since then, the program has grown to serve more than 1,600 individuals annually.
To apply for assistance, register in person at the Round Rock Police Department at 2701 N. Mays St. during the times and dates below. Applicants must reside in Round Rock. Please bring a current Texas ID or Driver’s License, proof of address (current utility bill or telephone bill in applicants name), and a RRISD November report card for school-aged children.
Nov. 13 to Dec. 6 Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Nov. 22 and Nov. 23 CLOSED
Gifts will be delivered to each home on the morning of Dec. 14. The media is invited to the vehicle load up that day from 8-10 a.m. at 2120 N. Mays St., Suite 200.
Operation Blue Santa is supported entirely by the community in the form of donations. Round Rock Operation Blue Santa accepts new unwrapped toys and wrapping paper. You can drop them off at the PD, at any Round Rock Fire Department station, and at the Round Rock Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving in Old Settlers Park. See map of all locations.
