Round Rock Police Continue Search For 2 Missing Girls, Suspect

Detectives ask members of the public to call 512-218-5515 with information that could prove useful, 911 if they come across missing girls.

ROUND ROCK, TX — Police detectives continue to investigate the case of two missing Round Rock minors believed to have been kidnapped after the suspicious New Year's Eve death of their mother.

"The Round Rock Police Department is working diligently with state and federal law enforcement agencies to bring the two missing juveniles back safely," officials said Tuesday in a news advisory.

Officials also clarified the process of contacting officials should any member of the public have information that could be useful to their investigation: "Please call our Non-Emergency Line at 512-218-5515 with any information," police said. "Do not call 512-670-5700, as has previously been reported. If you encounter the juveniles or Terry Allen Miles, call 911."

Two Girls Missing, New Year's Eve Death: Police Need Your Help

Miles has been identified as a "person of interest" in the case. The former roommate of Tonya Bates, 44, who was found dead at a home along the 2600 block of Leslie Court on New Year's Eve after police responded to a welfare check call by a concerned co-worker. Miles is described as a bearded white male standing at six feet, two inches and weighing about 200 pounds.

Police believe Miles took the Bates' daughters, Luluvioletta Mariposo Bandera-Magret, 7, who is about 4-foot-5 and 75 pounds with very curly brown hair, and Lilianais Victoria Cake Griffith, 14, who stands at about 5 feet tall and weighs 100 pounds and has dirty blonde hair, braces and a nose stud in her right nostril.

Police believe Miles is en route to Louisiana, and have received reports of possibly sightings in New Mexico and Colorado, according to reports. In their Tuesday advisory, police said they have no further information in another case into the Dec. 31 suspicious death of Joshua Armstrong on Dec. 31, and declined to say whether the case was related. Armstrong, 37, was found dead inside a home along the 1100 block of Preserve Place at around 8:30 p.m.
