ROUND ROCK, TX - Officials have rescheduled a Round Rock Road closure that was supposed to take place in mid-December. The Texas Department of Transportation plans to close<a href="https://patch.com/texas/round-rock/sam-bass-road-closure-delayed-update-0" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> Sam Bass Road</a> just south of FM 3406 5 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6. The closure will remain in effect for about a month and a half. Contractors had been scheduled to reconstruct the intersection and replace the culvert on FM 3406, but it was decided that preliminary repairs were necessary. TxDot officials had outlined a detour for driversvia Creek Bend Boulevard (pictured in blue in the above supplied image).
