Wag-A-Bag Burglary Suspect Fired Gun Into Ceiling: Round Rock Police

Joseph Juarez, 29, is charged with aggravated robbery in connection to the Sept. 18 convenience store robbery.

ROUND ROCK, TX — A suspect in the robbery of a Round Rock convenience store last week is also accused of having fired a gun at the ceiling during the incident, according to a published report.

Joseph Juarez, 29, was charged on Friday with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, according to Williamson County Jail records. The charge is a first-degree felony punishable by up to 99 years in prison.

The case stems to Sept. 18, when a Wag-A-Bag store at 801 S. Mays St. was held up just after 10:30 p.m., according to information previously provided by the Round Rock Police Department. A store clerk later told police the suspect entered the store with a bandanna obscuring his face while clutching a semi-automatic handgun, according to the report.
