WilCo Open House To Educate Voters On $477M Bond Proposal
Tuesday evening gathering in Hutto represents final chance for voters to learn about roads, parks plans ahead of Nov. 5 election.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — Williamson County voters have a final chance on Tuesday to learn about a pair of bond propositions collectively valued at $477 million ahead of the November election.
Voters will cast ballots on Nov. 5 on the proposed bond packages designed for road and parks projects. The lion's share of the public debt issuance represents a planned investment of $412 million for roads, with the remaining $35 million to be raised earmarked for parks improvements, including to Berry Springs and River Ranch upgrades.
County officials have organized a series of such educational gatherings, with the final open house scheduled Tuesday evening in Hutto. Those unable to attend can learn more via the Williamson County website.
