Woman Assaulted Along Brushy Creek Trail, Suspect Sought
Incident is said to have occurred just after 7:30 a.m. on Sunday morning near Kenney Fort Boulevard where the victim had been jogging.

ROUND ROCK, TX — A woman was assaulted along the Brushy Creek Trail on Sunday morning, with the suspect still at large, police said.
The incident occurred just after 7:30 a.m. on Sunday morning near Kenney Fort Boulevard where the victim had been jogging. Police said the woman was able to fight off her attacker before fleeing to a separate location where others helped her call for help.
The victim described her attacker as a Hispanic male in his mid 20’s to early 30’s, approximately 5 feet seven inches to five feet, ten inches in height, with short black hair and soul patch facial hair. He was wearing a black baseball cap (thought to have an Under Armour logo), gray shirt (not fitted), black or navy blue gym shorts with white stripe down the side, and black basketball style shoes, police said in a subsequent advisory.

"The Round Rock Police Department is actively searching for the suspect at this time," officials said in a press advisory. Those with information are urged to contact the Round Rock Police Department at (512) 218-5500 with any information.
Police did not disclose that nature of the attack or the condition of the victim.
