An Art Extravaganza at Juniper Village at Lincoln Heights

January 25, 2024 (San Antonio, TX) – Juniper Village at Lincoln Heights is thrilled to announce a public exhibition of its community-based art show, A Vibrant Celebration of Art and Community Engagement. The exhibition will be open to the public February 15, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Residents of Juniper Village at Lincoln Heights will proudly display their own creations, reflecting the diverse range of artistic talents within the senior living community. Students from Alamo Heights United Methodist Day School will also be active participants, displaying their inspiring murals and other art pieces, highlighting the creativity of the community's younger members.

"Our residents love art, so why not put on an art show?" said April Rodriguez, Connections Director at Juniper Village at Lincoln Heights.

Other organizations involved include Reagan High School, San Antonio Art Collective, and special invited guests include artist Cindy Morawski.

Morawski, an award-winning San Antonio artist, is known for painting the subjects of landscapes, birds, and animals with pastels. A charter member and past President of the Texas Pastel Society, she has created art since childhood. She also enjoys painting plein air landscapes outdoors with the Texas Pastel Society.

The event promises to be a delightful afternoon filled with visual splendor, community spirit, and the joy of artistic expression. Guests at the art show will be treated to an array of hors d'oeuvres and fine wines, enhancing their overall experience.
