City Of San Antonio: Turn Your Christmas Tree Into Mulch

The Solid Waste Management Department is providing five locations to turn real Christmas trees into mulch.

SAN ANTONIO (December 23, 2021) – The Solid Waste Management Department is providing five locations to turn real Christmas trees into mulch. Trees over six feet should be cut in half. Remove all lights, decorations, and stands, even wooden ones. Do not bag trees. No live wreaths, garlands, or plants will be accepted. Approximately two weeks after these events, Christmas tree mulch will be available at the Bitters Brush Recycling Center for free while supplies last. Below are the locations, addresses, dates, and hours.
