Ford Made a Crib to Help Your Baby Sleep
This technique has already proved to be effective and it applies to almost all babies

Babies are always delight. They are absolute miracles! And we say this in all sincerity. However, parents will tell you one thing they hate about raising babies: they hardly sleep. When babies fight off sleep, they go about it for hours. Worse, they will only shut their cute little eyes off to drift off for a few minutes. Next thing you know, they wake up shrieking, leaving their parents with little to no sleep at all. Life can certainly get tough.
Going without sleep for days is torturous. Parents, especially the ones that are new to parenthood, understand very well the desperation that the lack of sleep brings on. Of course, somewhere down the line, these parents will find ways or tricks to help their babies fall asleep. There is swaying, humming, bouncing and singing, and swaddling and shushing. If you want a foolproof method, pop your kid into the car. Take it for a spin and it will surely doze off in just a matter of minutes. This technique has already proved to be effective and it applies to almost all babies.
Still, driving the streets out at night is not something adults that are deprived of sleep ought to be doing.

This is why we say that the crib Ford created is a genius invention as it helps parents in letting their babies sleep as well as themselves.
The βMax Motor Dreamsβ means that babies will now sleep at home just like how they often do in the car. This cot will come complete with a restrained engine noise. Furthermore, it tips and tilts ever so slightly just so a car moving is imitated. The cot also comes with LED lights. The lights are timed so as to stimulate street lighting.

If you are to buy the cot, you have to download the app that is necessary for using it. The app will track the way the car sounds and moves. The app will then reproduce the same sounds and movements to the babyβs own car journey.
This is definitely sheer genius. The crib at this point is still at the prototype stage. Sleepless parents from all over the world are surely on the edge of their seats now, hoping that this will be made available soon.
As for Ford, they hope that the crib will put a stop to the need for new parents to drive around town just so their babies can have a sound rest. Ford realizes that parents, tired as they are, need to sleep too. They also need to think about their well being. The crib was created to be a part of the Spain campaign of Ford. According to Rachel Rothman, the chief technologist of Good Housekeeping Institute, the crib is rather the safest option in putting a baby to sleep.
βSleeping must always be done within a safe environment. Ideally, it is a bassinet or crib that meets the safety standards that have been set by the CPSC. The environment must also be free of anything. This includes blankets, toys, pillows, etcβ¦,β explains Rothman, βWe still havenβt seen or tested the item in person yet. However, we assume that it can provide a safe alternative rather than going behind the wheel tired to lull a baby to sleep.β
As of this moment, the management of Ford says that the crib is a βone-off pilot.β But because of the response they got from parents, they are considering the idea of mass producing such cribs in the near future. In the meantime, there is a smart crib similar to that of Fordβs which is the SNOO of Harvey Karp.
