Lumedia's Julianna Emanski sings Nov. 7 with Austin Baroque
The artistic director of Lumedia Musicworks is a special guest of the Fernando y Barbara event at St. John's Lutheran Church in San Antonio.

Lumedia Musicworks' artistic director Julianna Emanski will perform with Austin Baroque Orchestra at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7, as part of ABO's Fernando y Barbara event. Tickets to the event at St. John's Lutheran Church in San Antonio. Tickets are available at Austin Baroque.
Soprano Emanski, who has a doctorate in music entrepreneurship and vocal pedagogy from the University of North Texas, is a Grammy nominee. She specializes in historical-performance practices of early music and founded Dallas-based early music ensemble Lumedia in 2017.
Emanski also performed with ABO on Nov. 6 at St. Martin's Lutheran Church in Austin.

Though largely unknown now, Ferdinand VI was revered for his love of music. He and wife Queen Maria Barbara de Braganza employed many Spanish and Italian musicians and artists. ABO's program will offer some of the musical life of the royals. There will be operatic and orchestral music by Spanish, Portuguese and Italian composers, including Jose de Nebra, Carlos de Seixas and others.
