Teen arrested after alleged social media gun threats toward Compass Rose school (news4sanantonio.com) — A former Compass Rose Public Schools student in San Antonio was arrested after allegedly posting social media videos threatening to shoot specific people at the campus while displaying what appeared to be a handgun. School officials boosted on-campus security starting October 5 and say additional security will remain in place until further notice, while the 17-year-old faces a terroristic threat charge and remains jailed in Bexar County.

San Antonio's Free Blockbuster is moving to the Northwest Side (mysanantonio.com) — San Antonio's free Blockbuster kiosk is relocating by year's end to The Shops at Bandera Road, next to the Retroz collectibles store. Residents can already drop off VHS, DVD, and Blu-ray donations there and browse '90s and Y2K toys while they wait for the new movie-swap kiosk to open.

San Antonio DJ heads to London for world finals (foxsanantonio.com) — A San Antonio DJ known as RC3 is heading to London for the prestigious DMC World Finals and will preview his routines at Pueblo Hall on Oct. 25. The St. Philip's College student hopes to showcase San Antonio's music scene globally, inviting locals to hear his turntable skills before he competes on the world stage.

Just wanted to take a moment to say hello, my name is Nicole and I hope everyone is doing good. Nice to meet you all in advance. (Nextdoor Wildhorse at Taush Farms) - On Friday night to Saturday, at the stroke of midnight, our resident neighborhood Barred Owl ( me and the pups call him Biff) paid us a visit.
