Here are the top stories today in San Antonio:
- Although St. Patrick's Day was on Thursday, March 17, the Irish holiday celebration is still going on this weekend in San Antonio! On Saturday, March 19, city crews will dye the San Antonio River green "for the parade that kicks off at 4 p.m." There will also be all-day artisan shows starting at 11 a.m., as well as "food, music and beer provided by the Guadalupe Brewing Company." - The 26th annual Cesar E. Chavez March for Justice will kick off at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 26 with music by DJ Plata kicks and a morning rally. The March will start at 10 a.m. on Guadalupe and Brazos streets and will end at HemisFair Plaza. Then from noon-3 p.m., an afternoon program will take place, featuring "music and entertainment with performances by Little Joe y La Familia and Piñata Protest." - This past week, San Antonio "City council signed off on an agreement to build a new proton therapy treatment center" for cancer patients. According to local doctors, the treatment "is easier on a patient than traditional radiation." The $68 million center will be built by Proton International and will open in two years. - The Wonder of Texas' Native Plants at Government Canyon State Natural Area (GCSNA). It is recommended that you dress for walking outdoors and wear a hat and shoes appropriate for rough trails. You should also use sunscreen and each person needs to take 2 liter of water and a snack. This hike is subject to cancellation, so please check trail conditions by visiting the GCSNA twitter feed or Facebook Page. (9 a.m.)

- Little Henry and the Laveers Live Band Dance for "Swing 525" at Hermann Sons Ballroom located at 525 S. St. Mary's St. in Downtown San Antonio.
