SAPL : Public Invited To Provide Comment On Naming Proposal For Las Palmas Branch Library

SAN ANTONIO (August 20, 2021) — The public is invited to an in-person meeting to provide comment on the proposal to consider adding the name of Andres D. Sarabia to the official name of the Las Palmas Branch Library. The meeting will take place on Saturday, September 18 from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. at Las Palmas Branch Library, located at 515 Castroville Rd., 78237.

The Naming Committee of the San Antonio Public Library Board will receive public comments during this meeting. The public comments will be taken into consideration by the Board Naming Committee prior to making a recommendation to the Library Board of Trustees. The Library Board will take action on the proposed name of the Las Palmas Branch Library at a future Library Board Meeting. Please note, no decisions will be made at this public input meeting.
