Shooting Outside Chik-fil-A In North San Antonio Leaves Man Dead

Police have no suspects but looking for vehicle described by witnesses from which shots were fired after altercation.

SAN ANTONIO, TX — A shooting at a parking lot outside a North Side restaurant has left one man dead Sunday evening, police said.

Police found the victim on a parking lot of the Chick-fil-A restaurant near the intersection of Loop 410 and McCullough Avenue, not far from North Star Mall. Police told KSAT News there was an altercation prior to the shooting at around 5:30 p.m. that left a male victim in his 20s dead.

Multiple witnesses were taken to police headquarters for questioning, the news station reported.

No suspect description was available, but police said they suspects were in a black four-door car with several occupants. The car may have body damage, police told local news outlets.

The shooting comes two months after the shooting of a letter carrier in February, also in the North Star Mallarea.
