• Former MLB prospect, 35, killed in car crash while returning from coaching tournament (timebulletin.us) — A Santa Fe baseball coach and former Houston Astros minor leaguer, Jon Kemmer, was killed in a rollover crash in Galveston County while driving home from coaching a youth tournament in Houston. The 35-year-old was alone in his vehicle when it struck a utility pole on a rural road and he died at the scene.
