• Navarro ISD Trustees extend superintendent's contract following strong annual evaluation (seguintoday.com) — Navarro ISD has extended Superintendent Dr. Mandy Epley’s contract by three years after a strong annual evaluation highlighting low teacher turnover, high graduation rates, and big gains in college and career readiness. Speaking to the Seguin Daily News, district leaders praised her student-focused approach and collaborative goal-setting as Navarro continues to manage fast growth in the Seguin–Geronimo area.
   

• Wanted Wednesday fugitive behind bars (seguintoday.com) — Seguin-area law enforcement reports that a 24-year-old man featured in the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s “Wanted Wednesday” social media post was located and arrested the same day and booked into the county detention center. Residents are urged to follow the sheriff’s pages for future Wanted Wednesday updates and to report tips to authorities rather than approaching wanted individuals themselves.
