(kten.com) — Sherman officials are reviewing plans for a new Chuy’s Tex-Mex restaurant at Sherman Center, by the US 75/US 82 interchange, with the project headed to the Planning and Zoning agenda on September 22. If approved, residents who now drive to Frisco or McKinney for Chuy’s could soon have a popular fajita and burrito spot much closer to home.

• San Antonio man indicted for murder in Grayson County, other August indictments (heralddemocrat.com) — Grayson County grand jurors have indicted a San Antonio man for murder in a June shooting near Bells and handed down dozens of other felony indictments. Several Sherman residents face charges ranging from burglary and theft to drug possession and assault, offering a detailed snapshot of serious criminal cases now moving through the local courts.
