ā¢ City council approves committee to improve South Padre Island birding spots (krgv.com) ā South Padre Islandās city council has created a new birding and ecotourism committee thatās already planning better signage, QR-code guides, and long-term trail upgrades at local birding spots. Led by Councilmember Aarin Hartwell, the group aims to refresh boardwalks and trails over the next few years, starting with new signs and eco-guides expected within six months.
