Man Dies In North Austin Home Explosion
Earlier Monday, in East Austin, a teenager died and a woman in her 40s injured by a blast that occurred Monday along the 4800 block of Oldfort Hill Drive at 6:44 a.m. The 17-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene in the earlier explosion on Galindo Street, near 51st Street and Martin Luther King Boulevard.

Police now are warning residents against accepting or opening suspicious packages inside their homes.
