Bank Robber Arrested in South Austin
A bank robber who hit a BBVA Compass Bank has been taken into custody.

Police arrested a man about nine hours after he was suspected of robbing a South Austin bank Thursday.
Justin Randall Knoche, 23, entered the BBVA Compass Bank located at 2401 S. Congress Avenue and demanded cash from a teller on Dec. 3 at about 9:30 a.m., police said. The suspected robber fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
At the time, the suspect was wearing a tan baseball hat, light jacket, and white washed jeans. The robbery was caught on surveillance cameras located inside of the bank

At about 6:30 p.m., agents from the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force and officers and investigators with the Austin Police Department, detained and arrested Knoche for the robbery of the the BBVA Compass Bank.
Knoche was found to be in possession of almost all of the money taken in the robbery, police said, and he dwas booked into Travis County Jail for Robbery by Threat.

Police say this has been the 11th bank robbery in Austin this year.
