Man Critically Injured In South Austin Stabbing
Man suffers life-threatening injuries along 9600 block of South I-35, in same spot where another man is killed by car just 20 minutes later.

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX — A man was seriously injured in an early morning stabbing in South Austin on Wednesday, officials said.
Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the 9600 block of South Interstate 35 at 12:55 a.m. amid an emergency call related to a stabbing there. Medics transported a man in his 30s to St. David's South Austin Hospital with serious, potentially life-threatening, injuries.
No arrest has been made in connection to the case.

This is around the same spot where a pedestrian was struck and killed while crossing Interstate 35 at around 20 minutes after the stabbing incident. In that case, a man in his 30s was mowed down by a vehicle as he attempted to cross the highway along the 9100 block of South I-35 southbound.
