Man Shot Dead In South Austin
A woman found her roommate shot at the Concord Austin Apartment complex before he died, police said.

SOUTH AUSTIN, TEXAS — A man was fatally shot in Southeast Austin on Thursday evening.
Police were called to the Concord Austin Apartments on Bluff Springs Road, at around 8:30 p.m. on Thursday after a woman reported her roommate had been shot, police said in a subsequent press briefing. Upon their arrival, police found a man with obvious trauma throughout his body.
The shooting victim, described as a white man in his 30s, was taken to St. David's South Austin Medical Center where he was pronounced dead just before 9 p.m. Senior Police Officer Bino Cadenas told reporters the victim likely got into an argument with someone else in the breezeway of the complex before entering his unit with a gunshot wound.

UPDATE: Police ID Man Shot Dead In South Austin
As of late Thursday, police had no suspect in custody. Cadenas said the incident appears to be isolated and the public at large was not in any danger.
