Pedestrian Struck, Killed In South Austin
Woman in her 30s pronounced dead at the scene along 8100 block of Interstate 35 in second pedestrian death on Saturday morning.

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX — A pedestrian was struck and killed early Saturday morning in South Austin.
Austin-Travis County EMS medics were dispatched to the 8100 block of Interstate 35 along the frontage road north of Slaughter Lane just before 4 a.m. There, they found a woman in her 30s dead at the scene.
It's unclear if the motorist involved stayed at the scene to cooperate with a police investigation. Patch will update if more details are made available.

The incident was the second pedestrian death on Saturday morning in Austin. Across town in North Austin, a man in his 30s was killed along the 6100 block of North Interstate 35, near U.S. 290, just after 7 a.m.
