Police ID Man Killed In Crash, Driver Facing Charges

The crash occurred early Saturday Morning near MoPac and Slaughter Lane.

Police have identified a man killed in the three-car collision Saturday Morning and have charged one of the drivers involved in the crash.

Anthony Anania, 21, has been charged with intoxication manslaughter, reported KEYE. Police told the station that Anania ran a red light trying to make an eastbound turn onto Slaughter Lane and crashed into the other vehicles at approximately 1:55 a.m.

A man in his 60s, William Colbert, was taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge where he died, police told KXAN.

The two other drivers refused treatment for injuries, according to Austin / Travis County EMS.
