• Spring ISD student hit, killed by truck while crossing I-45 (pressnewsagency.org) — A Spring High School student has died after being struck by a pickup while trying to cross I-45 near Louetta Road on Friday, a tragedy affecting Spring ISD families. Authorities say the teen was hit in the southbound main lanes after leaving a nearby Home Depot, while the driver stayed at the scene and showed no signs of intoxication.
