Trader Joe's targets Houston area with nearly $1M Texas store (mysanantonio.com) — Spring residents are set to get their own Trader Joe's, with a nearly $1 million store planned for 21364 Kuykendahl Road in Spring Town Center. Construction is expected to start December 1, 2026 and wrap by April 1, 2027, bringing popular specialty groceries much closer to local shoppers. 
2. City Ambulance Service Data Breach Lawsuit Investigation (claimdepot.com) — A ransomware attack on City Ambulance Service, headquartered on Wimbledon Estates Drive in Spring, exposed sensitive personal and medical data for more than 14,000 Texans. If you've used this Spring-based ambulance provider, your information may be affected, and attorneys are investigating potential compensation options for impacted patients.
3. Texas Longhorns Recruiting Targets, TXHSFB for Week 1 opponent Texas State (on3.com) — Two Spring high school standouts, linebacker TJ Burkhalter of Klein Forest and defensive lineman Cullen Thompson of Grand Oaks, are among the Texas high school talents highlighted ahead of Texas' matchup with Texas State. 4. Austin burger joint closer to opening anticipated Houston location (lmtonline.com) — A popular Austin-based burger chain is expanding its presence in Houston, adding a new inner-loop P. Terry's to complement existing suburban locations in Richmond, Spring, and Cypress. Locals who already visit the Spring spot can expect more convenience and shorter drives into town once the Katy Freeway drive-thru opens in early 2027.
