To celebrate this auspicious occasion, Buc-ees in Katy offered free car washes all day Thursday. Founded in 1982 in Lake Jackson, Buc-ees, which has 32 stores, has long been famous for its notoriously clean restrooms, as well as the plethora of items for sale such as Yeti coolers, home decor, deer corn, and of course the over popular Beaver Nuggets, a staple on many a Texas road trip. Meanwhile, the 85-yard long car wash is nearly as long as a football field and includes a plethora of brushes, and sprayers to make your ride as squeaky clean as their bathrooms.
