Missouri City Man Charged With Galveston Security Guard's Murder
Brandon Ledford, who is charged with the April murder of Phillip Molis, may have ties to Gorilla Mob 187 gang.

RICHMOND, TX — A 19-year old Missouri City man is in the Fort Bend County Jail and facing murder charges in the death Galveston a security guard.

Molis was working as an unarmed security guard at the San Luis Resort in Galveston, when he walked up on three men who were allegedly burglarizing cars at the resort’s parking lot.

Three days after the shooting, police in Galveston announced that Tyrone Davis Haines, 21, a member of the Gorilla Mob 187 gang out of Missouri City, had been arrested the night of the shooting on an unrelated charge.
It is believed that all three men who were involved in the shooting are members of the Gorilla Mob 187 gang.
