• United Methodist bishop says he is removing lead clergy at Highland Park church (dallasnews.com) — Members of Highland Park United Methodist Church who wish to remain with the denomination are being directed to worship this Sunday at University Park United Methodist Church at 10 a.m. after Bishop Ruben Saenz Jr. removed the church’s senior clergy and declared its vote to leave the denomination invalid. The conference has launched a separate website listing University Park UMC as the host site while legal and governance disputes continue.
