• Hometown Pride Tour: Red River Valley Museum (newschannel6now.com) — Vernon residents can explore more than 60 years of local and regional history at the Red River Valley Museum, which highlights Native American heritage, cowboy life, and a massive taxidermy collection from local hunter William Bond. Museum staff say many lifelong residents are still discovering the exhibits, and invite visitors Tuesday through Saturday starting at 10:30 a.m. as the Hometown Pride Tour continues spotlighting Vernon.
