Trustees also adopted a leaner $36.1 million budget, aiming to hold overall revenue from existing properties roughly steady while managing debt and operations.

The comeback win extends their streak to four straight victories, with another home match against McAllen coming up Friday.
   

• 2 men charged alongside ex-San Antonio financial adviser Brooklynn Willy convicted in fraud case (star-telegram.com) — A collapsed San Antonio financial advisory firm that once ran an office in Victoria is at the center of a multimillion‑dollar fraud case, and two Lubbock businessmen have now been convicted on all counts. Prosecutors say they turned a distressed‑debt investment program into a Ponzi scheme that hurt hundreds of Texans. Local investors who used that Victoria office could be among those affected.
