• 2 dead, 1 injured in shooting at Texarkana Aluminum (everythinglubbock.com) — Wake Village residents should know their local police department helped respond to a deadly domestic-related shooting Tuesday morning at Texarkana Aluminum in nearby Nash. Two people were killed, one was injured, and authorities say there is no ongoing threat to the public. Counseling is being offered to mill employees as the investigation continues.
