Call the library to register in advance.
   

• Weimar Lions Club donates to food bank, historical museum (coloradocountycitizen.com) — The Weimar Lions Club has donated $500 to support the Weimar Food Bank’s work helping local families, and also contributed to the Weimar Historical Museum’s ongoing operations. Club leaders emphasize that money raised through community events is reinvested into programs that directly benefit Weimar-area residents now and in the future.
   

• Over 10,000 miles walked in AgriLife, Weimar library program (coloradocountycitizen.com) — More than 10,000 miles were logged this year in the Walk Across Texas program sponsored by Friends of the Weimar Public Library and Colorado County AgriLife, with Miller Creek Milers taking first place. Six local teams spent eight weeks boosting their daily activity while building community spirit, and organizers are already encouraging Weimar residents to join the next round.
